Stove Top Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine 2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine in saucepan.

  2. Stir in rice and contents of seasoning packet. Bring to a boil.

  3. Cover tightly, REDUCE HEAT and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until desired consistency.

Stir before serving.

Microwave Directions:

  1. Combine RICE, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups hot water and 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine in a 2-quart microwave safe dish.

  2. Cover loosely and microwave on HIGH (full power) 4 minutes.

  3. Reduce heat to medium (50% power) and microwave 8-10 minutes, or until most of the water is absorbed.

  4. Remove from oven. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until desired consistency.

Stir before serving.
