Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Boneless Chicken, Beef, or Pork; cut in strips.

  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce.

  • 2 teaspoons Sugar.

  • 1/3 cup water.

  • 2 Tablespoons oil.

  • 1 red bell pepper.

  • 1 onion, ¼ inch slices.

  • 2 celery stalks; ¼ inch slices.

  • 2 carrots in matchstick pieces

  • ¼ lb. Broccoli florets in bite-size pieces

Instructions:

  1. Blend seasoning, soy sauce, sugar and water; set aside.

  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil; add meat and stir-fry until browned.

  3. Add vegetables; stir-fry.

  4. Add seasoning mixture; stir-fry 1 minute or until thickened.

If desired, substitute snow peas, sliced mushrooms or water chestnuts for any of the above vegetables.

IN-A-HURRY: Use 1 lb. Frozen Oriental vegetables without sauce in place of fresh vegetables.

Makes 5 servings, about 1 cup each as prepared above.
