Stove top:

  1. In medium saucepan, bring four and a half cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine and contents of package to a boil.

  2. Boil over medium heat, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until rice is tender.

  3. Sauce will thicken upon standing, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Microwave Directions:

  1. Combine four and a half cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine and contents of package in a three quart microwave-safe casserole.

  2. Microwave uncovered at HIGH 12 to 14 minutes or until rice is tender.

  3. Stir. Sauce will thicken upon standing, about 2 to 3 minutes.
