Stovetop Directions:

  1. In medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, rice-bean mix and Special seasonings to a boil; reduce heat to low.

  2. Cover; simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.

Rice will be saucy. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Microwave Directions:

  1. In round 2-quart microwaveable glass casserole, combine 2-1/3 cups water, rice-bean mix, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter and Special seasonings.

  2. Cover; microwave at HIGH 22 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.

Rice will be saucy. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
