  • 1 lb lean ground beef

  • 2 16 oz. Cans black beans

  • 2 16 oz. Cans diced tomatoes

  • 1 envelope mild taco seasoning

  • 1 envelope ranch dressing


  1. Fry meat until done.

  2. Drain off excess oil.

  3. Rinse meat with hot water (sounds gross, but it gets rid of excess fat and does not change the taste of the meat)

  4. Return the meat to the pan and add the remaining ingredients.

  5. Cover and simmer for 50 minutes to an hour.

  6. Serve over corn chips, and add sour cream and cheddar cheese if desired.
