Ingredients for Meatballs:

  • ½ cup bread crumbs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1lb ground beef

  • 1 egg

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Ingredients for Red Sauce:

  • 2 cups water

  • 3 8 oz cans tomato sauce

  • 1 15 oz. Can diced tomatoes

  • •  Cloves garlic

  • ¼ Cup fresh basil

  • ½ teaspoon sugar (to cut acidity)

  • 1lb penne

Instructions:

  1. Form meatballs- mix all meatball ingredients together, make into teaspoon- sized balls, and place on cookie sheet.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until cooked. Drain excess juices.

  3. Put all sauce ingredients, penne and meatballs in the crock pot and mix together.

  4. 4. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until noodles are tender.
