Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

  • ½ lb. Boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 lb. Italian sausage

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can french onion soup, condensed

  • 1-cup mild picante sauce

  • 2 cups Minute white rice, uncooked

  • ½ lb. Frozen, cooked shrimp

  • 1 small package frozen peas

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, heat oil in skillet.

  2. Add chicken, sausage and garlic and cook 5 minutes or until browned.

  3. Pour off fat.

  4. Add soup and picante sauce.

  5. Heat to a boil.

  6. Stir in rice, shrimp and peas.

  7. Reduce heat to low.

  8. Cover and cook over low heat for five minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
