  • 4 chicken breasts

  • salt and pepper

  • 3 heaping tablespoons flour

  • 3 heaping tablespoons butter

  • 2 cups cold milk

  • 1 small jar sliced mushrooms

  • 3 tablespoons minced parsley


  1. Season chicken well; boil until tender; cool and cut into bite-size pieces.

  2. Melt butter; add flour and stir until mixed.

  3. Add milk and cook until sauce is thick and creamy.

  4. Add cut up chicken, mushrooms and parsley.

  5. Season to taste and serve on toast or rice.
