Hamburger Helper Potatoes Stroganoff

Stove top:

You will need:

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat

  • 1¼ cups milk

  • 2 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Brown hamburger meat in 10-inch skillet; drain.

  2. Stir in milk, hot water, Sauce Mix and uncooked Potatoes.

  3. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.

  5. Remove from heat and uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands).

Microwave:

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat

  • 1¼ cups milk

  • 2½ cups boiling water

Directions:

  1. Crumble 1 pound hamburger meat into 3-quart microwavable casserole or bowl.

  2. Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 5 minutes, breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain.

  3. Stir in sauce mix (beef flavor), 2½ cups boiling water, 1¼ cups milk and uncooked Potatoes.

  4. Microwave uncovered on High 14 to 21 minutes, stirring every 7 minutes, until potatoes are tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). Dish will be hot.
