Stovetop:

For two packages:

  1. In medium saucepan, bring four cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine and contents of package to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
  3. Sauce will thicken upon standing, about 1 to 2 minutes.

 

Microwave

  1. Combine four cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine and contents of package in a three quart microwave-safe casserole.
  2.  Microwave uncovered at HIGH 12 to 14 minutes or until rice is tender.
  3. Stir.

 

Sauce will thicken upon standing, about 1 to 2 minutes.
