Stove Top:

  1. Place frozen green peas in ½ cup boiling water. Cover.
  2. Bring rapidly to second boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender, approximately 4 to 6 minutes.
  4. Drain. Season to taste.

 

Microwave:

  1. Place desired amount of frozen green peas in a microwaveable dish.
  2. Add ¼ cup water for 1 cup of peas.
  3. Cook on high setting 4-5 minutes.
  4. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  5. Drain. Season to taste.

 

NOTE: The power of microwave ovens will vary. You may have to adjust cooking time.
