  • 1 pkg. Jimmy Dean Hot Flavor Fresh Pork Sausage
  • 11 oz. Cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 12 10-inch flour tortillas
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (4 ½ oz.) diced green chilies, drained
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn, thawed



  1. Preheat grill 5 minutes
  2. Unwrap sausage and pull apart into quarter-size pieces. Brown pieces on grill 2 to 3 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove from grill, crumble or chop into small pieces and set aside. If you choose to slice sausage into patties, be sure to grill them 5 to 7 minutes instead.
  3. Mix cream cheese with cayenne pepper and cumin, if desied, in small bowl.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over 6 tortillas, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Sprinkle sausage, cheese, chilies and corn evenly over the 6 tortillas. Top with remaining tortillas; press down.
  6. Carefully scrape or wipe grill clean. Grill one quesadilla 2 to 3 minutes until browned and cheese is melted. Remove from grill and repeat the grilling process with remaining quesadillas. Cut each quesadilla into wedges 8 wedges and serve immediately.
