Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 and 1/3 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Generously Grease pans and dust with flour
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend cake mix, eggs, water, and oil.
  4. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed ( or 450 hand strokes)
  5. Pour batter into pans.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees (refer to chart below for how long). Cake is done when a toothpick is inserted in center and comes out clean.
  7. Cool cake in pan for 10-20 minutes
  8. Frost when completely cooled.

 

For two, 8-inch round pans, bake 35-38 minutes. For two, 9-inch round pans, bake 30-33 minutes. For a 13 x 9 pan, bake 35-38 minutes For 24-30 cupcakes, bake 19-22 minutes
