Ingredients:

 

  • 1-2 eggs
  • 1-2 Tbsp. milk or water
  • 2 pieces of bread
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Instructions:

  1. Beat the egg and milk or water in a mixing bowl with a whisk. Set aside.
  2. Place butter in large skillet.
  3. Heat on low just until melted.
  4. Dip bread into egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.
  5. Drop bread into skillet and fry 1-2 minutes.
  6. Turn with tong-turners or pancake turner.
  7. Fry on second side 1-2 minutes.
  8. Repeat for second piece of bread.
  9. Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
