Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts, optional

Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Combine sugar and cinnamon in small mixing bowl and set aside.
  3. Melt butter and set aside.
  4. Roll each biscuit into a rope shape.
  5. Bring ends together and press to seal forming a circle.
  6. Dip into butter.
  7. Dip into sugar mixture.
  8. Twist into a figure eight.
  9. Place on greased baking pan.
  10. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  11. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  12. Serve.

Yield:       Makes 8 twists.
