Alert message

 

  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 can (15-oz.) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. lemon pepper
  • 1/2 thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 pkg. frozen stew vegetables
  • 1 cup of cooked rice or noodles, optional

 

1.    In Dutch oven, brown meat in the oil.

2.    Add the remaining ingredients, except the rice or noodles.

3.    Cover and simmer 2 hours.

4.    Add rice or noodles, if desired.

5.    Serve.

 

Yield:  Makes 4 servings.
