This is delicious!

  • 2 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (8-oz.) carton strawberry yogurt
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • Cinnamon

 

1. Place strawberries and 1/4 cup of the water in blender container.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. In large saucepan, combine fruit, remaining 1 1/4 cups water, juice, sugar, cinnamon stick and cloves.

4. Cook over medium heat until mixture begins to boil.

5. Remove from heat and cool.

6. Add lemon juice and yogurt and stir with a whisk.

7. Cover and refrigerate several hours.

8. Pour into individual serving bowls.

9. Top with sour cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

 

Makes 4 servings.
