FOOD SERVICES PROGRAM

The Board shall be responsible for promoting the development and maintenance of an effective food service program. The program will serve to improve nutrition, health habits, and educational opportunities of each child by providing nourishing, well-balanced meals in pleasant surroundings.

Foods determined to be of minimal nutritional value, as defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, shall not be sold in the food service areas during the breakfast, lunch, or supper periods. 7 CFR 210.15(b), 220.12

RECORDS AND REPORTS

A record of all students who are eligible to participate in free and reduced price food service programs shall be maintained.
