What's my next lesson with my student with low vision? Connecting the Dots is a one-day Conference focusing on the needs of academic students with low vision.  Uncovering the needs of these students may be difficult as they often strive to pass as typically sighted. They may not recognize their own needs or what they are missing visually. This conference will focus on determining needs of these students and planning instruction.

Objectives

Participants will

  1. Describe examples of instruction for a range of student ages and needs, including ECC focus
  2. List benefits of a low vision exam
  3. Identify features of optical devices and appropriate uses
