Why I Belong to CED/DVI

CEC/DVI is a sound organization made up of professionals in the field of blindness. These professionals, and my colleagues, have at the very core of their mission the goal that all blind or visually impaired children and youth, including those with multiple disabilities, receive the best and most appropriate education they can receive. The fact that CEC/DVI supports the continuum and full array of services to blind and visually impaired children and the fact that I am the president of a specialized school for the blind, make me professionally and personally proud to be a member of CEC/DVI. I have learned a great deal from CEC/DVI members, both past and present. I look forward to the future.
