Section 2. Role of the mentor for this project
As you can see, the word "mentor" means a variety of things to different people. For the purpose of this training, consider these 3 components of the mentor's role:
- To offer support, both emotional and professional
- To create challenge, helping the new professional achieve new levels of professional excellence
- To facilitate a professional vision and identity within the new professional
