Fettuccine with Shrimp in Creamy White Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 8-10 medium shrimp (peeled and cleaned)
- ½ lb. fettuccine, cooked
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- 1½ cup half & half or light cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
- ¾ cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add garlic, sauté lightly, about 2 minutes.
- Add shrimp, sauté until shrimp becomes firm and opaque, about 2 minutes.
- Add fettuccine and parsley; stir lightly.
- Add half & half, salt and pepper, let simmer about 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add cheese. Stir gently.
- Serve immediately.
Serves 2.
