Chueletas De Puerco (Pork Chops)
Ingredients:
- 8-10 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1-tablespoon salt
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 6 tomatillos
- 1 clove garlic
- 1-tablespoon comino
- Fresh cilantro
- Tomato bouillon
- 3 Serrano peppers
- 1/4-cup water
Instructions for Salsa:
- Peel and rinse tomatillos.
- Remove stems from the peppers. Peel garlic cloves.
- Put tomatillos, peppers, garlic, comino, tomato bouillon, cilantro and water in blender and blend. Let stand in blender.
Instructions for Meat:
- Brown pork chops in oil. After turning the pork chops, add diced onion. Let cook 2 minutes.
- Pour salsa and salt on top of pork chops.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
