Hamburger Helper Beef and Garlic Potatoes
Stove top:
You will need:
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- ¾ cup milk
- 2¾ cups hot water.
Directions:
- Brown hamburger meat in 12-inch skillet; drain.
- Stir in hot water, milk, Sauce Mix and uncooked Potatoes.
- Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 16 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
- Remove from heat (sauce will thicken as it stands).
Microwave:
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 2¾ cups milk
- ¾ cup boiling water
Directions:
- Crumble 1 pound hamburger meat into 3-quart microwavable casserole or bowl.
- Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 5 minutes, breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain.
- Stir in both packets Sauce mix, 3 cups boiling water, 1 cup milk and uncooked Potatoes.
- Microwave uncovered on High 16 to 22 minutes, stirring every 8 minutes, until potatoes are tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). Dish will be hot.
