Sun-bird Stir-Fry Authentic Oriental Seasoning Mix
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Boneless Chicken, Beef, or Pork; cut in strips.
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce.
- 2 teaspoons Sugar.
- 1/3 cup water.
- 2 Tablespoons oil.
- 1 red bell pepper.
- 1 onion, ¼ inch slices.
- 2 celery stalks; ¼ inch slices.
- 2 carrots in matchstick pieces
- ¼ lb. Broccoli florets in bite-size pieces
Instructions:
- Blend seasoning, soy sauce, sugar and water; set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat oil; add meat and stir-fry until browned.
- Add vegetables; stir-fry.
- Add seasoning mixture; stir-fry 1 minute or until thickened.
If desired, substitute snow peas, sliced mushrooms or water chestnuts for any of the above vegetables.
IN-A-HURRY: Use 1 lb. Frozen Oriental vegetables without sauce in place of fresh vegetables.
Makes 5 servings, about 1 cup each as prepared above.
